IT Technician diagnose computer problems, monitor computer processing systems, install sofeware and perform tests on computer equipment and programs to ensure the smooth running of computer systems. IT Technician is also the primary point of contact for IT support within a company.
IT Technician need strong knowledge of computers and how they operate, which includes having a broad understanding of hardware and software, operating systens and basic computer programming, Familiarity with electronic equipment, internet applications and security may also be required. Technician may also need good communication skills because of frequent inteteraction with clients.
