Job Description

    1. Assists  in the management of  Daycare  & Recovery areas: management and assessment , monitoring  and  endorsement of patients.  

   2.  In collaboration  with  other  nursing personnel and members of other disciplines, also engages in the  following activities:
        a. Guidance and supervision of  nurses accountable to the Head Nurse.            

        b. Control of Emergency Carts, medications, apparatus used, supplies and accessories.

        c. Assists in evaluation of  the  performance of  nurses.

        e.  Evaluates the quality and appropriateness of care for patients. 

        g. Orientation, education, and continuing professional development for nurses.

3.  Performs other related tasks as required.

          a.  Assist in CPR.  Administer emergency drugs.

         b.  Management of OVA (Occurrence/Variance Accident)  Reports.

        c.  Administration of  post procedure patients regarding femoral sheath removal, PTT, etc. determination, and blood works request.

Experience	V. Good Clinical and administrative practice in  Pediatric  critical care and patient management.
	Preferred  three years experience in clinical related specialty; and least 2 years  supervisory or management experience, working knowledge of performance Improvement process.   Good knowledge and practice in Pediatric interventions, previously before  working or having experience as Pediatric Charge Nurse.
Computer Skills		Others: Good
Required Certification / Licensure / Registration	PCLS, etc.	Others: Registered Nurse, Obtained Credentialing or Registry related to the profession and practice.
