Emergency Response Member (Fire & Safety)

Qualifications

The candidate is responsible to attend emergency calls, Stand by duty, Fighting Fire, Rescue operations, Control access to site and Carry out routine checking, inspections, servicing & operate safety and fire fighting equipment, appliances to maintain the proper functioning of the emergency preparedness. Perform Fire fighting, rescue operations & control of chemical spills as instructed by safety/fire in charge & the incident controller. Acknowledge and respond to the fire alarms/emergency calls & ambulance services.Participate in fire fighting, refresher first aid, rescue training, mock drills, and other oriented training programs.
The candidate also has a role in providing & supplying the required safety/fire items for other users in plants. Maintain records for the no. of safety & fire fighting equipment for emergency use. Handle/issue the required safety/fire equipment for users upon request and or borrowing.
The candidate should have a minimum Higher Secondary School certificate followed by 2 years training. Specialized training on Safety  Fire Fighting is a must with minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field within the Oil & Gas, Fertilizer or Chemical Industry.
