Job Description

The position performs task concerned with maintenance of landscape irrigation system including irrigation operation, water treatment, grounds maintenance, mechanical, electrical systems, grounds structures, roads, walkways, kerbways and other related minor civil works at Qatar Foundation campuses and premises.

Assists in the activities of personnel and contractors engaged in gorunds maintenance, and makes long-range planning recommendations regarding fiscal needs, construction, maintenance and repair of secondary roads and parking lots, athletics areas and campus landscaping.

Compiles and produces daily, weekly, monthly, reports and other presentations required by the Department 

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering. Knowledge of agriculture engineering would be an added advantage. Good written and oral knowledge of english. • Al least three years grounds maintenance experience which includes assigning and evaluating the work of grounds maintenance crews/contractors at two or more facilities. Good working knowledge of the methods of horticulture including, irrigation systems. Civil maintenance experience and knowledge is desirable. • English. Proficiency in the use of computers with knowledge in MS Word, Excel & Access
