Job Description

Technical:

• Very good analytical approach to problem solving.
• Very good knowledge and understanding of IT networks (Firewalls, routers, VPN etc)
• Very good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Server Operating Systems (OS), Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server, ISA 2006, Windows Client OS (XP, Vista etc).
• Very good knowledge of known Backup Software
• Very good understanding of IS Security.
• Good concepts and understanding of relational database management systems (RBMS) and their administration, specifically on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of BlackBerry Enterprise Server
• Used to working within a multi-cultural environment.
• Knowledge of joint venture operations within a multinational business environment
• Ability to prioritize, resolve and complete actions required to meet goals
• Knowledge of Industry based systems Maximo, SunSystems will be an advantage
• Fair understanding of telecom systems and ability to maintain them either internally or through an external contract.

Qualifications

Experience:

• At least five years of working experience in implementing, maintaining and supporting an IT Infrastructure in a similar industrial environment.
• Prior experience of implementing plant business systems will be an advantage
• Overseas experience; preferable in the UAE.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT
• Microsoft Certifications (MCSE or MCP)
• Cisco Certification (CCNA or CCNP)
