Job Description
The role is responsible to interact with, supervise, and mentor all other technology employees within the organization through a matrix approach rather than through direct lines of reporting. Will be responsible for strategy, architecture, design, and development and implementation oversight of multiple millions of dollars worth of technological evolution of the organization within the next decade.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration or equivalent.
- Minimum of 15 years experience with business operations and economics; consulting and solutions architecture; infrastructure networking, security and services; experience with disparate technologies and industries; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have experience in a Service Provider environment.
- Computer literacy with standard business systems (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO, VB, other graphic software), as well as the highest level of technological literacy across the OSI model.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Be able to work independently as well as provide leadership and mentoring to teams and individuals.
- Experience in developing thorough, cohesive, and well-structured documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as written/oral communications skills.
- Must have highest-level recognized platform-specific accreditation relevant to the position such as Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA) Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Oracle Certified Master (OCM), etc.
- Must be attuned to all aspects of the ICT industry, specifically specialising in LAN/WAN/MAN Networking Infrastructure and Information Security architecture and governance.
