Job Description

To assist, develop and support the Connect ROTAsia program including the online learning community in all ROTA focal countries and other ROTA Staff members.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Education - an understanding or / and working experience of online global education projects.
• Presentation Skills - the ability to confidently deliver workshops for educators and presentations to various stakeholders within the community.
• Organizational Skills - the ability to plan and organize efficiently training, workshops, reporting etc.
• Technical skills - intermediate computer literacy is essential including Windows operating, MS Office, Internet Literacy i.e. forums, chat, web browsing.
• Professionalism - Sound knowledge of and exposure to a range of international organizations, to include approaches and techniques to address difficult problems; strong research skills, including ability to evaluate and integrate information from a variety of sources; ability to work under extreme pressure.
• Communications - Good communication (spoken and written) skills, including the ability to draft / edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas in a confident, clear and concise style.
• Language - Bilingual; fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.
• Planning & Organizing - Strong project management skills. With the ability to plan own work, manage conflicting priorities and work under pressure of tight and conflicting deadlines.
• Teamwork - Very good interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
• Others - Determination, compassion, high moral ethics and sound judgment.
